Lucy Kamara-our extraordinarily gifted little Desert Flower

Today, we would like to introduce to you our special little Desert Flower.

Lucy Kamara is five years old and lives together with her parents and two siblings in Newton, Sierra Leone.

She attends the St. Francis Primary School, Newton and is now in class two. According to her teachers, Lucy is an extraordinarily gifted girl. They say, she is always faster than her peers when doing given exercises.

Moreover, Lucy is very active and keen on sports. She hardly gets sick except for one time when she complained of stomach ache. Thanks to the quick intervention of our doctor, Lucy recovered very fast.

Lucy has been the star in her family ever since they were blessed with her birth, her mother revealed to us.

Unfortunately Lucy´s father is unemployed now. Her mother is a teacher and struggles to provide living for her family with her meagre salary.

They are incredibly happy to receive the Desert Flower Foundation´s support and would like to sincerely thank all the donors for their help.
