Waris Dirie was the first winner to receive the "Schwarzkopf Million Chances Award" in the category "Build Up", donated by the "Fritz Henkel Foundation" yesterday.
Kathrin Menges, Henkel Group Chief Human Resources Officer, presented the great prize to Waris Dirie for her fight against female genital mutilation and for the exemplary Desert Flower Foundation Education Projects for girls in Africa.
The prize money of EUR 10,000 will be used to 100% for the Education Projects of the Desert Flower Foundation in Sierra Leone!
